Why a Finnish kota outdoor sauna?
Looking for an authentic, traditional Finnish sauna? Then the Finnish kota is for you! The Finnish kota sauna is unique with its distinctive shape and charming look that recall the traditions of Finland. The Finnish kota has its origins in the Sami people, the indigenous people of Lapland. This traditional Scandinavian accommodation played an important role in their culture.
One of the benefits of a Finnish kota sauna is the short time that it takes to heat up. Its smart wooden structure (made of pinewood) and insulation mean that it heats up quickly and retains the heat. The design also ensures good heat distribution and adequate ventilation, contributing to a comfortable sauna experience.
A Finnish kota sauna is easy to install. This outdoor sauna comes as an easy-to-assemble construction package. Two to three people will be able to assemble the kota in just 2 days on average. The kota comes with complete wall and roof panels, which need to be secured together. Our experienced installation technicians are on hand to build your sauna if you prefer!
We recommend treating the exterior of your Finnish kota made of Nordic pinewood with a high-quality woodstain from the Finnish brand Tikkurila when you start using it. The wood can be treated with both transparent and opaque woodstains. You can retain the beautiful wood colour or give the sauna a completely different colour.
This sauna comes with the following as standard:
- wall panels made of Nordic pinewood with 45 mm semicircular profile inc. double tongue and groove
- fully impregnated foundation beams
- insulated roof with bitumen roof cover with overhang (choice of anthracite/grey/red/green)
- door with hexagonal double-glazed window
- sturdy and adjustable hardware
- 2 hexagonal windows, in the panels to the left and right of the door
- 2 tiers of alder sauna benches

Optional assembly:
The Finnish Sauna Kotas come as a construction package. You can choose from the following options:
- Assembly by Ticra Outdoor (price on request)
- Self-building the Finnish Kota: A detailed manual featuring drawings and/or photographs enables you to build your Finnish Kota yourself. The kota is packaged on a pallet with complete wall and roof elements and can be assembled by two or three people.

Warranty
This sauna (excluding stove) comes with a 5-year warranty! Please see our General Terms and Conditions for specific delivery and warranty information.
The warranty on the sauna stove depends on the brand:
- Helo: 2 years
- Harvia: 2 years
- Huum: 3 years
A 1-year warranty applies to all brands of sauna stove/heater in the case of commercial use.
