Our high-quality TICRA hot tubs are produced in the Netherlands and are fully recyclable. The inner tub is made from premium LDPE (Low-Density Polyethylene). This material is scratch-resistant, UV-resistant, and extremely durable due to its low density. It is also completely water-repellent, making it an ideal material for the interior of your hot tub..
2. Sustainable Thermowood
The exterior of our TICRA hot tubs is made from sustainable thermowood. Thermowood is timber that has undergone a thermal treatment — also known as thermally modified or enhanced wood. During this process, the wood is heated to approximately 230°C, removing sugars, carbohydrates, and resins. As a result, there are no nutrients left for insects or fungi, significantly extending the lifespan of outdoor wood structures like saunas or hot tubs. This process uses only steam and heat, with no chemical additives.
