The water in your Chill Tub Original ice bath can be set at a constant temperature from a minimum of 3° to a maximum of 40° Celsius. The rectangular shape of the Chill Tub allows you to stretch your legs out, which helps you to relax and practise breathing techniques. All Chill Tub Original purchases come with a free insulated cover.
What is a Chill Tub ice bath?
An ice bath is a cold water therapy bath, in which you immerse your body in cold water. The extreme cold gives your immune system and your mental health a boost. The body’s shock response releases adrenaline, causing increased heart rate and breathing. It’s like resetting your mental and physical state. The body produces more white blood cells because of the cold, which boosts your immune system and enables you to inhibit inflammation more effectively. Using special breathing techniques, you can learn to relax your body in the cold water, allowing you to experience the cold and feel more resilient than ever after the cold water bath.
