This traditional Scandinavian accommodation played an important role in their culture. The kota is now known for its cosiness. Its unique shape and wooden interior give it a warm, inviting atmosphere, perfect for relaxation and socialising with friends and family.
The Finnish kota is very versatile. It can serve as an outdoor kitchen in which to light the barbecue, even in weather that’s not as favourable. It’s also possible to use a traditional fireplace in the garden house, enabling you to enjoy a crackling fire during the colder months. Or use the Finnish kota as a sauna, office or treatment room. These unique garden houses even lend themselves to being used as holiday accommodation units.
