Floor Oil for garden houses | Tikkurila Supi

Preparation:
New clean wooden surfaces: Remove dirt and dust from the wooden surface. Lightly wet the surface with a water sprayer, allow to dry and sand away loose wood fibres (sandpaper no. 230). Remove sanding dust. Surfaces previously treated with wood oil: Clean with Supi Sauna Cleaner according to the instructions, rinse thoroughly and allow to dry. Sand if necessary and remove sanding dust. Remove loose material with a scraper and/or wire brush. If a visible film remains on the surface, remove it before treatment.

Application:
Stir Supi Floor Oil thoroughly before use and during application. Apply once with a brush or sponge and press firmly so that all the oil is evenly absorbed into the wood. Wipe away any excess oil after approx. 30 minutes. Distribute the oil evenly and without interruptions over the entire length of the plank to avoid overlapping. Treatment with oil makes the wood appear darker. Preheat the sauna and ventilate it thoroughly before use.

Surfaces that are continuously exposed to moisture must be re-treated at intervals.

Maintenance:
Treat the new surface carefully for about 1 week. If necessary, the surface can be lightly cleaned with a soft brush or mop after about two days after the surface treatment. The surface can be cleaned at the earliest after 1 month with Supi Sauna Cleaner (1-2 dl cleaning agent in 5 liters of water) to allow the product to reach its final hardness and durability.

During treatment and drying, the temperature of the air, the surface and the stain must be at least +5°C and the relative humidity less than 80%.

Clean tools with soap and water.
