The sauna with electric heater

Experience the convenience

Although most people love ‘playing’ with wood and fire, some people don't like it at all. For these sauna users we have the electric heater.

Advantages of an electric heater

  • On at the touch of a button
  • No gas or fire needed
  • Safe to use (a wood-fired stove is too, by the way)
  • Reaches desired temperature quickly
  • No flue pipe to exterior needed
  • Temperature easy to control
  • Timer function: allows you to set the sauna to turn on automatically after a certain time

Disadvantages of an electric sauna stove

  • Less natural heat than a wood-fired stove; different atmosphere and experience
  • Electricity supply almost always needs to be put in (by a qualified electrician).
  • The smaller models of sauna are also available with a 220V electric heater.

Connecting up an electric sauna stove

Connecting the electric heater in your outdoor sauna is something best done by a qualified installation technician.

Once the heater has been connected, the fun can begin. Helo's electric heaters come with the correct number of sauna stones to be placed between the coils in the heater. The coils heat up the stones, which in turn give off a gradual, pleasant heat that spreads throughout the sauna.
