The TICRA hot tub features its fireplace outside the tub and is heated in an entirely natural way. The plastic (LDPE) tub is moulded from one piece and has sloped walls.

Why a TICRA wood-fired hot tub with external stove?
The external wood stove is heated by burning wood. The wood stove is double-walled. In the double wall there is an inlet hose (below) and an outlet hose (above), through which the water from the hot tub flows automatically. As heat rises (capillary action), the heated water will circulate towards the rest of the water in the hot tub. Hence the hot tub with external heater is heated completely naturally without a pump. The stove being outside the tub means extra space in the tub.
